In 2014 McAdam were appointed by Northern Ireland Water to deliver their PC (Price Control)15 Base Maintenance Wastewater Programme for the South and East regions of Northern Ireland and have subsequently delivered this 6-year programme of work (2015-2021) valued at £34m. The Programme of Works was extended for another 6 years through to 2027 with an expected budget of £70m
The programme included 125 separate contracts, ranging in value from £50k to £2.6m, has been delivered on time and within budget and with minimal disruption to existing operational service. This dynamic and complex programme was a 2020 finalist in the Association of Project Managers, Programme of the Year, which recognised the collaborative approach to delivery and continued drive for innovation.
Since appointment in 2014, McAdam Ltd have served as Project Managers & CDM Co-ordinators on this Programme of Works.
The McAdam team role was to deliver Capital Base Maintenance upgrades to WwTWs across the East & South regions on behalf of the Northern Ireland Water Asset Delivery Team
The Base Maintenance Wastewater Programme is an integral part of NI Water’s capital works programme helping to ensure compliance with discharge standards is maintained, and environmentally sensitive waters are protected.
