McAdam have been Project Managers & CDM co-ordinators on the Rural Waste Water Investment Programme since 2008 working in partnership with NI Water to deliver over 160 small wastewater treatment works.
Currently in its 6th year and extended into Price Control period 21, McAdam provides concept design, project management and health & safety services from feasibility through to construction, commissioning, and handover. This highly successful programme of work has been delivered through provision of a fully integrated team, innovative management techniques, standardised design delivering capital efficiencies and waste minimisation, enhanced asset management and streamlined handover procedures.
The project team have provided wastewater treatment for over 160 small communities across Northern Ireland delivering extensive environmental benefits including protection of rural watercourses, reduced odours, noise, and out of sewer flooding and meeting tight discharge standards.
This award winning programme of work has delivered all of this with an excellent health & safety record and provision of year on year capital efficiencies.
