McAdam are acting as Architect, Information Manager and Principal Designer on this 10,000sqm state-of-the-art Factory.
The Queen’s University-led Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) in Newtownabbey is one of the flagship projects of the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD).
This building will be a flagship facility of the project, this ‘factory of the future’, the AMIC will be a collaboration between academia and industry, based at Invest NI’s Global Point Business Park.
Made up of three linear 'pavilions', plans for the building include an engineering hall, laboratory and various work and ‘clean room’ spaces.
