One of our Engineers Paul Kelly, recently participated in an Interview Skills Day at Lismore Comprehensive School. Paul conducted mock job interviews and provided career advice for five post-GCSE students who are hoping to commence Higher Education Engineering courses next year. McAdam are currently undertaking a Project Management role in the construction of the new Lismore school so it was great to be able to interact with the students in this way. As an ex-Lismore pupil it was particularly rewarding for Paul.
The new Lismore Comprehensive School will be a £20m post Primary School due for completion this year. The new school will accommodate 1,200 pupils from the Lurgan area and will consist of a new school building with a wide range of departmental teaching facilities, learning support centre, sports hall and PE facilities, School Meals Accommodation, sports pitches and administration and office spaces.
McAdam are acting as Client Architects and PM’s on the design and build project, are working with OHMG Ltd, Isherwood + Ellis, Design ID Consulting, Harvey Group and TB+A
